Remembering Olive Collective (ROC 2.0)

RIP Mike McColgan
Mike McColgan, Olive's close friend and comrade sadly died of cancer in December 2021. Mike supported ROC by donating original documents to the archive and providing contact details for people who had known and worked with Olive. In memory of Mike we are sharing the interview he gave as part of the Remembering Olive archive which is held at Minet Road library.

About ROC 2.0
We are an ad hoc group dedicated to responsibly stewarding the Olive Morris Collection, held at Lambeth Archives, London, UK. This includes:
- making sure the Collection is intact
- ensuring that the Collection is available to the public for research and keeping tabs on the appropriate usage of Olive's image and legacy.

Our current campaigns include:
1 . installing a memorial cornerstone on the site of Olive Morris House (1986 - present)
2. a 10th anniversary re-issue of the book Do You Remember Olive Morris?
3. administering the Olive Morris Memorial Award for young activists and Afruika Bantu Saturday School (2022)
